What is covered under the Standard Limited Warranty?

What is not covered under the Standard Limited Warranty?
Warranty for device will be considered invalid for: (a) defects or damage resulting from accident, misuse, abnormal use, abnormal conditions, improper storage, exposure to liquid, moisture, dampness, sand or dirt, neglect, or unusual physical, electrical or electro mechanical stress; (b) scratches, dents and cosmetic damage, unless caused by the manufacturer; (c) defects or damage resulting from excessive force or use of a metallic object when pressing on a touch screen; (d) equipment that has the serial number or the enhancement data code removed, defaced, damaged, altered or made illegible; (e) ordinary wear and tear, including battery degradation; (f) defects or damage resulting from the use of Product in conjunction or connection with accessories, products, or ancillary/peripheral equipment not furnished or approved by the manufacturer; (g) defects or damage resulting from improper testing, operation, maintenance, installation, service, or adjustment not furnished or approved by manufacturer, including but not limited to installation of unauthorized software and unauthorized root access, both of which shall void this limited warranty; (h) defects or damage resulting from external causes such as collision with an object, fire, flooding, dirt, windstorm, lightning, earthquake, exposure to weather conditions, theft, blown fuse, or improper use of any electrical source; (i) defects or damage resulting from cellular signal reception or transmission, or viruses or other software problems introduced into the Product. This Standard Limited Warranty does not cover any battery if (i) the battery has been charged by a battery charger not specified or approved by the manufacturer for charging the battery; (ii) any of the seals on the battery are broken or show evidence of tampering; or (iii) the battery has been used in equipment other than the manufacturers device for which it is specified.
Perfumes and Beauty
Perfumes are nonrefundable or replaceable if it has not crossed its shelf life.
Fashion, Toys, Collectibles and Books
Returns and exchanges are accepted within a period of 10 days from the day of delivery given that the tags are intact and the packaging is in the original condition.
Procedure for claiming warranty
- Shipping to the repair center is free. Return Shipping is free, if your issue is covered under the warranty.
- Returns are accepted within a period of 10 days from the day of delivery given that the tags are intact and the packaging is in the original, unopened condition. Refunds are not applicable for returns, and the customer can opt for store credit or purchase of another product.
- Warranty period is mentioned either in the warranty card, invoice or in the description of the respective product.
- If the product is found to be faulty within 7 days of purchase, it will be eligible for immediate replacement provided that no misuse or tampering of the product is found
- Upon inspection of the product, Dealz.lk will decide if the defect is covered under the warranty conditions.
- If the defect is covered under the warranty conditions, Dealz.lk will repair/ replace the product free of charge
- Dealz.lk requires 7-14 days to inspect and repair/replace the product. If the parts are not available, this time can be extended up to 1 month or longer given the circumstances of the repair.
- If the repair process takes more than 1 month and the defect of the product is covered under the conditions of the warranty with no mishandling or damage done by the customer, it will be replaced with a new product.
- After the product is repaired, or is not covered under the warranty, and the customer is notified, the product should be collected within a period of 1 month, or the product will be disposed of, upon notification once more, and acknowledgement by the customer. (Storage period can be extended under special circumstances upon request by the customer)

Return Policy
Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy
- Once confirmation of transaction is sent via email by Dealz.lk to the user orders cannot be cancelled or goods returned.
- Any issue related to any product or service should be brought to the notice of Dealz.lk within 2 days of the purchase.
- Dealz.lk management reserves the exclusive right to decide on refunding or replacing a product.
- Paid ‘store pickup’ orders which are not collected within 30 days will be cancelled automatically and cancelled items are subject to a cancellation/restocking fee equal to 20% of the sale value
- For items with expiry dates which are not collected within said thirty-day period, Dealz.lk is entitled to dispose of such items in its sole discretion and no refunds will be made.
- ‘Pay on pickup’ orders will be cancelled automatically if the payment is not done within two (02) working days
- Delivery costs of ‘replacements’ should be fulfilled by the customers.

- In the event of an error or mistake whether technical or human, Dealz.lk reserves the right to cancel any order placed by the customer at any time at its sole discretion and refund the payment back to the customer.
- You acknowledge that Dealz.lk is unable to exercise control over the security or subject matter of Content passing over the Dealz.lk Network, the Website or via the Services and Dealz.lk hereby excludes all liability of any kind for the transmission or reception of infringing Content of whatever nature.
- lk assumes no responsibility for and does not endorse unless expressly stated, Content created or published by third parties that is included in the Website and the Services or which may be linked to and from the Website.
- Neither Dealz.lk nor any member of Dealz.lk shall be liable for any special, indirect or consequential damages or any damages whatsoever, whether in an action of contract, negligence or other tortuous action, arising out of or in connection with the performance of or use of Services available on the Website
Terms of Sale
When you use our products, services and the website you are bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please review them carefully.
- The order is only valid for the product mentioned.
- Certain products will have to be collected from a specified merchant location.
- Island wide delivery is available at an additional cost for specified products only.
- lk will not be responsible for lost or stolen vouchers.
- lk management reserves the right to decide about the replacement of products for which there is no warranty.
- Unless specifically stated otherwise, orders cannot be combined with any other gift certificates, vouchers or promotions.
- Orders cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.

Unavailability of Product / Product Out of Stock
Inventory of all products advertised on Dealz.lk are not managed or maintained by Dealz.lk , Company only acts as an intermediary between the customer and the supplier for such products. These products may not be available (run out of stock) from time to time due to overselling by the suppliers; however the product may be available for purchase on Dealz.lk if the supplier has not promptly informed us of the fact that the product is unavailable for them to supply us. In such circumstances .Dealz.lk does not accept any liability whatsoever.
Customer acknowledges and agrees that the only remedy available for unavailability of product is the refund of the money paid.
Placement of an order including the payment of the order value by the Customer will be construed as an offer. When you place an order to purchase a product from us, you will receive an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order (the “Order Confirmation E-mail”). The Order Confirmation E-mail is acknowledgement that we have received your order and has been passed for processing and does not confirm acceptance of your offer to buy the product(s) ordered. We only accept your offer, when we have commenced delivery after the supplier has released the product.
Out of stock / Tickets & Events
- Hotel and ticket bookings are subject to hotel and event partner confirmation.
- Vouchers once bought are non-refundable, not exchangeable for cash and cannot be reused.
Refunds
All refunds are processed within 7 working days by Dealz.lk Further processing back to your credit card/ bank account may require additional time depending on the bank/ institution for which Dealz.lk cannot be held liable.
You may have extra consumer rights under the local law that this contract cannot change.
Information Submission
The user is responsible for providing accurate information at the time of registration. Users are responsible for ensuring that details are updated and current. In the event that a user does not provide correct and accurate information the deal will not be processed.
Dealz.lk reserves the right to terminate user membership at any time if breach of these terms and conditions take place.
